Can I take Proven Recovery® on my diet?

Proven Recovery® is dairy-free, meat-free, kosher, and halal. It does contain omega-3 fatty acids sourced from fish.

 

How many courses of Proven Recovery® should I take?

A single course (10 days) is recommended for:

  • Minor surgeries (e.g., small laparoscopic surgeries, small orthopedic procedures)
  • Small non-operative sports injuries

A double course (20 days) is recommended for:

  • Major surgeries (e.g., joint arthroplasty, rotator cuff repairs, spine surgery, open abdominal surgeries, bowel resections, cancer surgeries)
  • Any surgery that requires a cast (e.g., wrist fracture)
  • Breast reconstruction, abdominoplasty, or other major plastic surgery
  • Anyone wanting to maximize their recovery from surgery or injury

Who cannot take Proven Recovery®?

Kidney disease: As some patients with kidney disease are required to follow a low-protein diet, please discuss the risks and benefits with your physician prior to use.

 

Pregnancy & breastfeeding: Not specifically contraindicated, but these products have not been tested in pregnant or lactating women. Consult your physician before use.
